Animesh Pradhan who hails from the city of Odisha. The 24 Years old, who was able to secure AIR 2 rank in the UPSC CSE 2023. He pursued his education from NIT Rourkela, currently employed in the Indian Corporation limited, gave his first attempt in the UPSC civil services examination 2023.
How did Animesh Pradhan prepare for UPSC Civil Services Examination?
He remarked, “During my preparation, I participated in test series and mentorship programs offered by numerous coaching institutes. However, there is no substitute for handwork, although luck is supposed to play a role to some extent. He urges,” if I can achieve success in adverse situation, anyone can achieve it.”
Handwork always pays off, and with dedication and attention, you can do anything in life.

Animesh Pradhan prepared and gave his one and only attempt in the UPSC CSE 2023, and secured second rank filling everyone’s heart with pride.
Animesh lost his mother to life threatening cancer last month, while he was preparing for his personality test ( interview) with the Union Public Service Commission. He expressed his heart saying how he desperately wants to share such and heartfelt news with both his parents but can’t since his father too passed away in 2015.

Animesh Pradhan, is said to be a BTech graduate in computer science from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela. Who secured the second rank with sociology as his optional subject.
The grief of losing both his parent would have led him into a different path, but Animesh chose to strive harder and choose to serve his country by striving to become an IAS officers despite all the difficulties he was facing in the moment.
He didn’t give up on his dream, he stated that his mother was always his biggest motivator and supporter. She was fighting cancer only to see him become his dream self, an IAS officer and serve his country. It’s a sad tragedy that she passed away, but Animesh has fulfilled her dream today.
