Exam format of IELTS:
To prepare for an exam it is compulsory to know about the exam format of the test.IELTS test has four sections that include Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking. All foyer sections have their own specific questions. The total time provided to a candidate for the IELTS test is 2hour and 45 minutes. The exam format is as follow:
Listening Test: This test is the same for both the candidates of the Academic Test and General Training Test. The allotted time for the Listening Test is 30 minus and an additional 10 minutes to copy answers to the answer sheet. This test contains four recorded audios for four sections and the candidate needs to answer a question based on the audio which is played only once.
Reading Test: The time allotted for this test is 60 minutes in which the candidates need to answer 40 questions based on the texts given. This test is not the same for Academic and General Training candidates.
Writing Test: The time allotted for this test is 60 minutes and this test is different for both Academic and General Training candidates.
