RRB Announces Exam Dates for Junior Engineer and Other Recruitment Posts
The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) have officially released the examination dates for the recruitment of Junior Engineers (JE), Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP), Railway Protection Force Sub-Inspector (RPF SI), and Technician positions. This announcement was made on October 7, 2024.
Recruitment Details
The upcoming examination will cover several key positions, including:
- Junior Engineers (JE)
- Depot Material Superintendents (DMS)
- Chemical & Metallurgical Assistants (CMA)
- Chemical Supervisors (Research)
- Metallurgical Supervisors (Research)
Specific Vacancies
Among the total vacancies, 17 are allocated for the roles of Chemical Supervisor and Metallurgical Supervisor under RRB Gorakhpur. Additionally, there are 7,934 vacancies for Junior Engineers, Depot Material Superintendents, and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistants.
Examination Structure
The selection process will consist of two Computer Based Tests (CBTs), followed by:
- Document Verification (DV)
- Medical Examination (ME)
Important Note on Scoring
Candidates should be aware that there will be a negative marking system in place. For every incorrect answer in the CBT, 1/3 of the allotted marks will be deducted.
