Ruhani UPSC CSE 2023, AIR 5 Toppers Strategy
A total of 1,016 individuals (664 males and 352 women) cleared the examination and were recommended by the Commission for appointment to various positions. Among the final qualified contenders, the top five include three males and two women. The results of the UPSC CSE 2023 was released on 16th of April, 2024.

Ruhani, 28 years old, who has made her mark in the top rankers of the UPSC CSE 2023, Ruhani secured an all-India rank of five, on her sixth attempt. Suresh, her father, said “UPSC is our country’s toughest examination and we are thankful to god that despite… such tough competition, our daughter has cleared it.”
“It was my daughter’s dream to become an IAS officer and she got it in the sixth attempt… We spoke to Ruhani briefly after we found out about her selection and congratulated her. She was very happy. But we couldn’t talk for longer as she was doing her training,” Suresh added.
How did Ruhani prepare for UPSC Civil Services Examination?
Ruhani’s accomplishment is a result of her well-planned approach and constant work. She emphasized on complete syllabus coverage, considerable practice with mock tests, and good time management. She also stressed current affairs, analytical thinking, and writing practice for the major exam.

Number of attempts in the UPSC CSE | UPSC CSE 2023 AIR 5
As stated by multiple resources, Ruhani gave her sixth attempt in the UPSC civil services examination 2023. She was selected as an IPS ( Indian Police Services), in her fifth attempt.
Ruhani, like many aspirants, faced a number of hurdles during her UPSC preparation journey. These could include time management, balancing studies with private responsibilities, dealing with stress and pressure, and overcoming disappointments. However, her determination and tenacity enabled her to overcome these obstacles.
Past Education UPSC CSE AIR 5 Ruhani
Ruhani did her schooling from at a private school in Gurgaon and pursued Bachelor’s in economics from University of Delhi, St Stephen’s College. She then pursued her Master’s in Economics from IGNOU. After which, she worked as an Assistant Director at NITI Ayog for three years after clearing the Indian Economic Service exam.
